Today Saturday, July 23rd 2011 was a bittersweet day, Meredith and her children, Tyler, Bella, and Finley left this afternoon for their home in California. My the month has flew by. One of the many high lights of their visit was last nite I got to keep 6 of my 8 Grandchildren! All my children went to dinner together and so I got all the grands! We had a good time, we ate pizza, play outside on the porch, played I spy, rode ride toys, and then came in and watched two movies, The girls picked out Cat in the hat movie and Chase picked out Thomas the train. They were delightful! Finley just played around and squielled loving all the cousins. The oldest two (13)
Tyler and Kayce sat on the love seat and talked. It is so awesome to have grands that love their cousins like my do. The Adult Children, Chris, Cori, Meredith and Megan and Angela and Deanna had dinner at Jackson's in Homewood, they seemed to enjoy themselves.
I know Jason was ready for his family to come home and I completely get that. but you don't know how hard it is for me to say good bye to them till they come again at Christmas. I miss them so much! I gave Finney(Her nickname) a book that I recorded about how much I will miss you. Hopefully when she hears the story I read in the book she will remember that is Nana.
Megan (our youngest) will celebrate her 26th birthday on Monday!! My how the time flies. She is a very responsible young woman who I am very proud of. I would love to meet her for lunch but I'm not sure if that will be possible. (A tree Fell on our house June 26th and We have not been able to get a roofer out to fix the hole it knocked in the roof and rains are coming in and causing problems. A man is suppose to come Monday to fix the roof (fingers crossed). Maybe this week I can get my life and brain in order to write about the grandchildren dedicating each day to one. So that will take up 8 days...Then I 'm sure I will find something else to write about.
Hope you all have a wonderful Sunday and Worship the Lord in the Church of your choice. Until then.....
